The Vision you have for your wedding is what is most important, to make sure your vision comes to life make sure that you are open and honest about how you want your wedding to play out. Your best bet would be to try to find vendors that will fit your vision best, especially your wedding planner. Your wedding planner will be your best friend, make sure they know exactly what you want to happen in your special day. 

Ignore the “rules”

 
Many people get caught up in what they think weddings “should” or “shouldn’t” be, But the truth is, there are no rules to getting married! It is your special day, don’t get caught up in what others think you “should” or “shouldn’t” do, make it the way your heart desires.
 

Practice Self-Care 

 
Planning a wedding can be a years long progress, you need to be making sure that you are taking care of yourself during that time. 
 

Wait to say “Yes” to the dress 

 
Wait to choose a dress until you know when and where you are going to be getting married. If you say yes to a fluffy ball gown but you have a beach wedding it may not be a great combination.

Do not procrastinate, vendors and venues fill up quickly so don’t wait too long. 
 

Get a Photographer
